Quantification of foliage biomass and branches potentialities of Pinus cubensis. Sarg. ex Griseb in the Agroforestal Enterprise Baracoa

Abstract
This paper had as objective to quantify the potentialities of foliage biomass and branches of Pinus cubensis. Sarg. ex Griseb of three Units Silvícolas (US) Combate de Sabanilla, Baracoa and Cayo Güin belonging to the Agroforestal Enterprise Baracoa. For that which is carried out a sampling at random 114 stand of the US Combate de Sabanilla, 64 of the US Baracoa and 46 of the US Cayo Güin, in stand took the weight of the dry and green branches, of the dry and green foliage of trees depressed resultants of the forest use. It was obtained this way as results the existence of potentialities of biomass of green foliage, biomass of dry foliage, branch dries off and green branches as a forest product in the three units existent silvícolas in the Company Agroforestal Baracoa, as well as they are significant statistical difference among this types of biomass among the unidades silvícolas Cayo Güin and Combate de Sabanilla, being in this last Unidad Silvícola the one that presents the biggest potentialities of three.
