Environmental education: a study proposal for the Nevado de Toluca National Park (PNNT)

Abstract

Today we present an environmental crisis that endangers life on the planet, in this situation, environmental education is presented as an instrument of the state that has the task to prevent, correct and mitigate environmental problems, among other actions, through conducting educational programs to raise awareness and consciousness of the actors change, which in this case interact with the Protected Natural Areas (PNA). The goal that guides this work is to develop an environmental education program that incorporates issues arising from the problems surrounding the Protected Natural Area (PNA), Nevado of Toluca National Park and, with a target group for elementary school and thereby influence the solution of their problems. The specific objectives in this work are as follows: show the problem of NPAs in Mexico and Nevado of Toluca National Park, identifying the components and theories of learning in elementary school, and finally incorporate the institutional features that can adopt the proposed program. The development of the proposed fine is evident in the learning strategies which address issues such as: Elements of nature we need to live, the forest care, use and disposal and, put together all through the school projects that are aimed at PNNT care, such as the Wonder of PNNT, Save the PNNT and we are all part of everything.
